Presidential Amnesty Sought for Anthrax Vaccine Refusers:
Families to Launch Aggressive Campaign

The following refusers and family members will speak in support of ending the anthrax vaccine program and granting amnesty for all refusers:
· Captain John Buck, MD., Biloxi, MS: currently awaiting Air Force Court martial for refusing the order to take the vaccine.
· Major Sonnie & Roxanne Bates, Dover, DE: a 14 year career pilot who was given General Dismissal for refusing the shot.
· Mrs. Deanna Austin, Fritch, TX: the mother of Marine Lance Cpl. Jason Austin, who was convicted at court martial & given a Bad Conduct Discharge and prison term.
· Spec, Jeremy Deaton, Rosemond, CA: refused anthrax vaccine while stationed with the Army in Germany. Now facing court martial.
· Staff Sgt Randi Allaire & Tech. Sgt. Robin Smith, Lansing, MI: both suffered adverse health effects from vaccine while with the Michigan Air National Guard; both received General Discharges despite many years of exemplary service.
· Mrs Michelle Norris, Temicula, CA: wife of 1st Class Petty Officer Dan Norris, barred from reenlistment after 14 years of Navy service, because he challenged the vaccines safety.
· Lt Col. Tom Heemstra, Florence, KY: former F-16 Squadron Commander, Indiana Air National Guard, forced to resign after refusing to take vaccine.
· William Boylan, Wheaton, IL, father of Navy Petty Officer Daniel Boylan and Ensign Brian Boylan. Despite superior ratings, both sons were forced out with General Discharges due to their opposition to the vaccine.
Presidents Lincoln and Johnson declared amnesties for Confederate troops during the Civil War. Presidents Ford and Carter declared limited amnesties for military personnel who refused further duty in Vietnam; Carter also declared general amnesty for Vietnam draft refusers.
